Geographic Location:
The Garden is situated in the southeast of Shanghai, in Xingta Town of Jinshan District where is the border of Zhejiang and shanghai. This place is an important entrance and exit to the provinces in southern China and enjoys a unique place in the center of Changjiang Delta.
The traffic there is very convenient. It takes 40 min to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, 50 min to Shanghai Pudong International Airport, 40 min to the city center of Shanghai, 60 min to hangzhou and Suzhou. It is only 3 km to Huhang Freeway, near to 320 national highway and Shanghai outer-loop freeway. Through the trans-strait bridge over Hangzhou Bay, Ningbo can be reached within 1 hour.
Facing to 320 national highway in the north, the project has the total area of 106ha. Most of the land is farmland with 155 families in it. On the northeast corner, a lot of Sweet-scented Osmanthus have been planted.

1.1. keep the original form
Sweet-scented osmanthus enjoys a long history in Chinese history and had created a lot of stories and culture which are not known by too many people. Shanghai Century Sweet-scented Osmanthus Garden is an exhibition place for Chinese sweet-scented osmanthus culture and history. The sweet-scented osmanthus in the garden are more than decades old. By digging lakes and pile hills to form new landform of Zhejiang Island, Shanghai Island and Hangzhou Bay etc.

Purchase for nature style and features
The garden is designed just like a flying butterfly. When travelers are walking in the forest, they can feel its vitality and natural sceneries every where.

Sweet-scented osmanthus trees
Sweet-scented osmanthus is the theme of the project and the master layout is outspreaded by it. They are arranged in points, lines and belts and integrate them as a whole.

Design target:
Basing upon Shanghai, serving for Changjiang Delt, developing the whole nation and facing with the world is our target. The project taking Chinese sweet-scented osmanthus as its background, having the future development of traveling in mind, give prominence to we are aiming to form a recreational cultural subject park with outstanding characters, complete functions, perfect facilities by building forest, city water area, modern agriculture zone and ecological swamp etc.
