General Information:
Jiangdu is a city lay beside the Yangtzi River in the Suzhong Plain, which means “All the water in Jiangsu and Huaihe River converges here” in Chinese. As the origine of the water remove from south to north in our country, it is located where the south is Yangtze River, west is the suburb of Yangzhou, connected with Taixing and Jiangyan in the east, and Gaoyou and Xinghua the north. It's plain and has a lot of rivers and lakes interweaved with each other, among which Tongyang Canal goes through from east to west and the Great Canal north to south.
This project is located on the convergent point of the Jinwan River and the 328 national highway of Jiangdu, where the topography is plain, and many natural rivers connecting with that River, of which the north is the green belt of this city. It covers an area about 159561.9m2, and the 328 national highway seperates this part away from the south part which has already been finished.
Design Concept:
From all perspectives, the planning design embodys a morden and leisure taste style, building up a perfect place to go for those urban people for their holidays, which emphasises on the people oriented principle, that means to creat a comfortable material and culture enviroment to improve the harmonious relationship between human and nature as well as human and human, from which we can get a good impression in all aspects for living and the milk of human kindness too. In the planning, active community and quiet public constructions are different, so are those various types of monomers and the environment. In the relationship between local economic balance and noble community comfort, the density has to reflect the layout features and the flexibility existes compactly, which fully embodies the modern ecological quality of the living area.
