5 Days’ Ancient Town Inspection of Anhui, Jiangsu and Zhejiang was finished August 26th, 45 architects in our company started to visit the Tunxi Street in Huangshan Mountain in Anhui province. Next day, we came to Hongcun, the millennium village,world culture heritage, where many famous architectures featured of Huizhou are located, which includes the civil palace—Chengzhi Hall, Jingxiu Hall, Dongxian Hall, Yuetang Hall and so on. The museum of Huizhou-style architecture in Ming and Qing Dynasty, Xidi, also attracted our intense interests, which leads us back to the long passed history, and we took many pictures there, talking fiercely. Wuzheng, Luzhi, Zhouzhuang, all of these represent the characteristics of the South China. Millennium history and culture, pure and elegant river scenery, unique cuisine of great flavor, colorful folk festivals, profound culture accumulation and the life style never changed, all of these factors made those old town living fossils of the ancient oriental culture. Everyone immersed in the attractive historical picture.
