The National Administration Board of Architectural Registration (NABAR) has sent out the files about the exam before the Spring Festival. Its contents are as below:

I. Terms for Entering the Exam

i. People who attend first-grade registered architect exam for the first time should meet these terms:

1.Terms on major, education and working time:

¢Ùlisted in the accessory 2

¢Ú any one who is not applicable to the situation in accessory 2 should have worked in architectural design at least for 15 years or satisfy to one of the terms below:

a. ever worked as a project principle or specialized principle, four civilian building projects above grade 3 and worked throughout the 4 processes, within which should include at lease one grade 2 or above project.

b. ever worked as a project principle or specialized principle, four other building projects above grade 3 and worked throughout the whole process, within which should include at lease one grade 2 or above project.
Statement: the standards should be recognized per the relevant notice issued by State Price Control Bureau and Ministry of Construction, PRC.

2. Professional Practice:
not less than 700 unit professional practice. Please provide your "professional practice manual of grade one registered architect"for examination.

ii. People who attend first-grade registered architect exam for the first time should meet these terms:

1. 1.Terms on major, education and working time:

2.with the title of assistant architect and assistant engineer or above, and worked in architectural design or related business for more than 3 years(include 3 years)

any one who is not applicable to the situation in accessory 3 should have worked in architectural design at least for 13 years or satisfy to one of the terms below:

¢Ùever worked as a project principle or specialized principle, four civilian building projects above grade 4 and worked throughout the whole process, within which should include at lease one grade 3 or above project.

¢Úever worked as a project principle or specialized principle, other building projects design experience and worked throughout the four processes, within which should include at lease one medium sized or above project.

II. Time arrangement, please refer to accessory 4.

III. Sign up for the exam one week ahead of the national organization's deadline in local places. The national signing up will be ended in Mar.2006

IV. Draft paper will be given, 4 pieces of NO.2 draft paper each. They should be returned after the exam

V. Prepare every necessary tools and instruments for the drawing test before hand. The examinees are allowed to enter the test room 30 minutes ahead. Read "Test Notice"carefully. The examinees should read accessory carefully.

VI.The rules, norms and regulations of the exam please refer to "notice for the adjustment of books used for registered architect exam"

Accessory 2:
Terms on major, education and working time for qualification of 2006 for first-grade registered architect exam

Accessory 3:
Terms on Major, Education and Working Time for Qualification of 2006 for Second-grade Registered Architect Exam:

Statement: similar majors: to Technical secondary schools are building decoration, town and country planning, industrial or civilian building and village or town construction: to associate degrees are town and country planning, scenery garden design, building decoration technology and housing construction projects; to undergraduate and above are urban planning and architecture engineering

Accessory 4:
Time Arrangement for Qualification of 2006 for Second-grade Registered Architect Exam

Statement: Examinees are allowed to enter the examination rooms 30 minutes ahead the drawing test for preparing
 
Accessory 7:
Notice for the Exam

For Knowledge Test:
I. Take along 2B pencils and erasers and for those who will attend architecture structure test, also silent calculators without editing function.

II. Read"test notice "carefully. Write the company name, examinee's name, test number in the right place. Otherwise, the answer sheet will be canceled.

III. Black the choice you choose on the answer sheet. Please erase the original choice clearly if there is any change.

Drawing Test:
I. enter examination room 30 minutes ahead

II.Take along enough tools and instruments which is necessary for drawing, such as calculator, bow compass, set square and T square etc.

III. Read"test notice "carefully. Write the company name, examinee's name, test number in the right place. Otherwise, the test qualification will be canceled.

IV. the drawing should be drew by black drawing pen as a certain scale. Keep the lines clean and clear. Color pens, pencils and ball pen are not allowed. It is forbidden to stick sketch on or to write special marks on test papers, otherwise, the test qualification will be canceled.

V. Disconnect the papers when answering. Put them in order and bind them up when handing up. The staple should be put 15mm away to the paper's left edge. Don't be short of any paper, otherwise, the test qualification will be canceled.

VI. Architectural Technology Design and Field Design in grade one test are mutable choice test. The examinees must (1) finish the drawings (2) black the choice which want to choose (3) finish the all the items on the answer sheet. Do not miss any item; otherwise, the test qualification will be canceled. Only one correct answer for every item, and the answer on your paper and answer sheet should be in consistence.
