Xiasha Bank which is 12 kilometers long combines Chinese and Western characteristics together.

Xiasha Bank was built along Qiantang River. Now the weed under the bank has been substituted by a clean avenue. 500,000,000 RMB is invested in the avenue building. It will be constructed into the most modern sight avenue which can embody the fusing of Chinese and Western culture.?

With the total length of 12.02 kilometers, the avenue is started from the NO.1 Road of Hangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone and stopped at Desehgn Fast speed Road, covering 1,066,672 m2. It was introduced that the avenue will concentrate traffic, recreation, exercise and sight seeing into its own function. It will be a beautiful golden necklace beside Qiantang River.

The sight seeing belt is the most outstanding specialty of this road. The History of the Bank Area will bring you back to the historical relics of Qianjiang. The Swamp Park Area and Tide Seeing Area will show you the unique enthusiasm of the innovator. ¡¡¡¡The Trees alongside the Road is Budding

The trees which were plant not long ago are budding. These light yellow treetops accompany the rose to stretch out into the far end.

There are a lot of light pole with different characteristics on the roadbed of the river-shore beside Mengqin bay. The workers there told us that in order to choose a suitable one, they installed these different light poles on the road for comparison. The ultimate plan has been selected out now.

¡¡¡¡Expected to be Put into Use at the End of the Year

The river-shore road project is initialed on Dec.2004 and is expected to be put into use at the end of this year. The four segment of the project is coming into their wind up process. More than 90% of these segments have been finished.

Till Mar.20, 60% of NO.1 segment and 39% od NO.2 part of the Sight Seeing Bridge are finished.

The virescence project will cost 17,000 RMB. It was divided into 6 segments. Till Mar. 20, Segment one and tow have finished 77%, Segment three has been finished 91%, segment four and six finished 21% and 60%. Segment five is preparing for its working.
