Design idea:
“Hotel”, a collection of modern conception, both traditional and classical, is a modern service in classicality. At the same time, the conception of “hotel”exceeds national boundaries. The character of “hotel”itself is a kind of harmony. Being oriental and occidental, melting the specialties of the south and north, not only embodies the grand manner and openness but also show s its orientation and extension. The design of Shangxing Hotel introduced the unique water county culture of Shaoxing. By the decoration and foil of the ornaments and little accessories, the customers will surely be personally on the scene. 
This design introduces “inner court” in the hotel by a refined research of the space layout. It is not only a common space with six faces, but also can be connected by road, water system, stone bridge and corridor, while at the same time every one of them have their own them. We are arranging the rhythm, order and layer of the space, using a series methods of view management to forming an artistic conception, tasty space which is full of meaning and taking a brand new space idea into the plan when considering the needed function.
